Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a couple of my non-scale victories this week. I had my annual physical yesterday and my Doctor was thrilled with the weight loss to date. But equally thrilled with my blood pressure, 110/66. She also said, my cholesterol “dramatically” Improved and to keep doing what I’m doing. She is lowering my BP meds with hopes I will be off it in the near future!!!! ProportionFit Rocks!!!!!
I joined the Proportion Fit Diet program in July of 2014 after struggling with weight my whole life. I have tried numerous diet plans in the past and would lose weight and quickly gain it back again. I finally made the decision that it was time to try something structured and easy to follow. The ProportionFit Diet book is just that and has literally changed my life. I’m excited to say with measuring my portions and having a structured workout program through CrossFit, I have lost 60 pounds as of April 2015. I have more energy, I’m no longer in plus size clothing and I feel confident to tackle another 40 pounds to reach my ultimate goal of 100 pounds lost. Using the philosophy of your book, along with moderate exercise, has allowed me to lose 10 lbs. in the first two months of 2014. This wouldn't be such a great accomplishment except that I have been trying to lose 5 lbs for over a decade!
Thank you for the simplicity and "doability" of your plan. I have recommended your book to many of my friends and relatives. Your plan succeeds where other plans fail, because of its common sense approach and ease of use.
Weight loss is easy if you do it your way! I'm down 73 lbs and the weigh...t loss has reduced joint pain by 75%. As, I've told you before, I have tried them all, and your book has made the most sense of all the diets out there! I have a goal to run in a 5K race and I think I can do it by next summer.
The 10 pounds I lost in the first 6 weeks of the program have remained off and I am looking forward to a steady loss from here on out. The plan is easy to follow when I realized that I could really eat anything I wanted but within my allotted cups for the day. I do try to balance my meals as far as the food groups go but sometimes you just have to have a hamburger and fries. Easy to measure it out and fit it in my cup containers. When I'm done, I'm done. Measuring gives me a visual cue to know when to stop!
I'm very thankful for the program. The desire to lose weight without loads of complicated tallying and removing enitre food groups gets overwhelming and restrictive. You simplified the process and I can finally see weight loss success in my future.
